This episode has a few rants. We put a musical bed underneath them to make them a little more palatable for people who don’t like rants… but if you don’t like angry rants then you probably quit this show a long time ago. So, we’re both a little angry this week and flying off the handle. But it’s for a good cause. We just think photographers deserve to be treated well, and one of us especially thinks that photographers need to treat other photographers well. But before we get to those rants, we gotta talk about this new post-wedding fad. It’s called Mr. Rogering. It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Won’t you be our neighbors?

This week Dustin and Steve experienced a lot of weird energy… So they’re trying to combat it in their durndest by putting out the most gosh gilly wash innocent and fun podcast you’ve heard! They received a strange recommendation on a photo educator’s website. The recommendation seemed to be more concerned with throwing shade at other photography podcasts without mentioning what those podcasts were… It was weird, but we’re still glad to have been on that list of recommended podcasts! Someone put Dustin on a Republican email list and that listener has made Steve the happiest boy alive.

This week it’s all about marketing yourself and what kind of bull crap you’d put up with to book a potential client. Let’s face it, not every client is a dream. But to start, Steve shares with us the tastiest of treats he had while Dustin ignores it and pretends like it doesn't exist. Then we have some follow up on our mattress talk, specifically about the purple mattress. Dustin also talks about some GoDaddy Photography thing but forgets why it was relevant to the episode till later..

Detective Dustin is back on the case. This time he's investigating the case of the double dipping deposits and taking a look at a twin dilemma. We're also exploring the difference between a content creator and a creative, why it's so frustrating when clients ask to see a full gallery in the venue in which they are getting married, and whether or not you need to say if a photo is from a styled shoot as opposed to a real wedding.

This week we're talking about underwater and in the air drones, what parts of the wedding day are and aren't important, and how to sell yourself to prospective clients. We also talk about the best ways to proselytize the podcast thanks to a listener question, but not in Q&A.
