This week Steve was joined by Brandon Wong of the Photobooth Supply Co. Brandon talked to Steve about why he transitioned from being a wedding photographer to creating a photobooth company that could help photographers and other event vendors make more money. Brandon and Steve also talk about the changes Photobooth Supply Co. made this last year to help their clients keep earning money during the pandemic, and they also talk a little bit about the future of photobooths.

This week we talk with Josh Withers about his switch from editing photos on the iPad Pro to a new M1 MacBook. We also talk about some crazy theory about the right way to pose men and women in photos that's some weird toxic masculinity crap, using your Facebook group to charge vendors to post, and looking for a way to get a venue for 500 people that has a 100% refundable deposit and also is available in three months.

This week we welcome Ulices Del Toro back to the podcast to talk about life after having a baby. We also talk about the Sony A1 and the Fujifilm GFX 100s a little (but not too much because neither of us have those cameras). The photographer of the viral Bernie Sanders photo was interviewed by Rolling Stone and had some thoughts to share about his photo and we also talk about Airmap suggesting that drone flights be monetized by the government.

How has the dismal vaccine rollout affected photographers? Some photographers have been kicked off Instagram since the insurrection on January 6th, is it related (it's not)? We're demanding to see location information to find out (we're terrible people and we're actually quite sorry for all of this). Sony a7iii impressions from shooting elopements and engagements. What a weird world it is to leave Canon for Sony. That weird Via Getty story from the insurrection. A daredevil photographer gets arrested for burglary. Lots of coronavirus talk and a few political things (we're not sorry about that... it's been a weird time period and we think it's important to talk about that kind of stuff... even if we're just making jokes). This week we're talking Christmas gifts and the things we missed in 2020 and the things we're looking forward to in 2021. But it's mostly not holiday related. We have updates on birds that rhyme with Sony as well as updates on more terrible things that Pass is doing. We're also talking about the longest exposure photo ever taken, a touchpad replacement for a shutter button and DJI being put on the economic blacklist. Plus, drone photos of landscapes that look rather phallic. Nature's d**k pics.

This episode is weird. Dustin could have sent Steve his audio. Steve could have asked for that audio when he realized it wasn't there... but then Steve's massive frustration with Dustin's weird Skype glitches wouldn't shine through in the episode and then people would just think Steve and Dustin were frustrated for other reasons than technology... So here's that sweet Skype audio everyone craves so that you all know what horrors Steve and Dustin faced.

This week we're going hard in the paint on Q&A. We talk about treatment and pay of second shooters, whether it's okay to call other photographers out when they lie, if you should tell other photographers not to buy DSLRs, whether or not you should have in-laws in family photos, and if you should plan elopements for people before they officially hire you. In the post show we talk about 30 Rock, Neil Gaiman's American Gods, Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series and the Stormlight Archive series, and also  the Harley Quinn series. It's a book heavy post show... well, audiobooks (our biggest competitor... why are we doing this?).

This is our first episode back after our fraught pre-election episode. It's been a confusing anxiety filled month as our current president refuses to acknowledge that he lost the election. He lost bigly. But we're finally back with an episode full of confusing jokes and poorly done accents. We're talking about Cole Haans and Hush Puppies in followup (trademark John Siracusa) then it's on to talking about RSI issues. Steve's been having a lot. While looking for a new office chair, Steve found some humorous questions and answers on Amazon's site (Dustin doesn't find them amusing at all). We also talk about squishy things to pillow the wrist while using a keyboard and mouse and standing desk converters. Then we talk about bad SEO advice and Parler (and you thought we were done with the political talk in the opener... somebody please end it). Also, Dustin talks about his Santa sessions and Steve mentions his frustrations with Pixifi (which isn't as good as hornybook which is a software that will get you there, according to Dustin). We also spend a long time talking about the M1 chips and the new iPhone's camera (primarily as a result of Josh Wither's fantastic blog post comparing his different iPhone cameras over the years).

This week we discuss the best cameras for catching pumpkin smashers red-handed, the best full spectrum cameras, how do you get photos of kids on Halloween if they have to wear masks, what doe sit mean if a cloud of smoke passes by you during a real estate video shoot when you're all alone, and demon bokeh photobombs.

How bout that title? Think that'll bypass the title censorship laws (do those exist?)? This week we're talking about Steve's RSI issues, the new Sony a7c, and Steve's fear that he's becoming a videographer again. Also, consensual slap-@$$ at weddings.
