Here's part 2 of our two part episode from the Imaging USA conference. Steve's voice was wrecked in the first episode, and it's even more wrecked in this one. We went to a smoky bar and his voice finally gave up the ghost. Then we did all of these interviews. So once again, while everyone else was out there learning, we were talking to a bunch of companies at the trade show. Still weird. Still wild. In this episode we talk with Canon, Photobiz, B&H Photo Video Pro Audio, Gifyyy and Kiss (a great Indiana company).

Here's part 1 of our two part episode from the Imaging USA conference. Steve lost his voice on the way to Imaging USA… so that was great. As a result he sounds a little like a middle school student. So you’ll all have to rely on Dustin to bring those sweet tones you’ve grown used to enjoying in your earholes. Anyway… While everyone else was out there learning, we were talking to a bunch of companies at the trade show. It was a weird and wild time. In our first episode we talk with Kodak, Image Salon, Sony, CG Pro Prints, HiDow, Photobooth Supply Co., and MagMod.

We're talking with Matt Mead about drinking with clients and music selection for client meetings. Matt's a wedding photographer in Erie, Pennsylvania. He has a background in commercial photography, shooting a lot of real estate and also hockey photos, but his real passion is for weddings. We talk with Matt about awkward situations he's gotten into while shooting as well as how he puts his personality on display at client meetings.

Ryan Welch of Freedom Edits joins us to talk about life-changing meatball marinara sub. Then we talk about how to fix Subway. We also talk about getting started as a wedding photographer at the age of 16, scaling a business from 30 weddings a year to 100 and then to 200, and the difficulties that come with running an editing company that does millions of photo edits every month. This week we're joined by Cat Ekkelboom-White all the way from Austria! Cat is an adventure and elopement photographer who shoots all over the world, but primarily in the Alps. On top of her phenomenal wedding and commercial photographer, Cat is also a Fujifilm X-Photographer. In this episode we're talking to Cat about her transition from being a composer/flautist to a photographer. We also talk about how she markets herself to shoot destination weddings in new locations and her transition from Canon to Fujifilm.

This week we talked with Jamie Findlay of Evolve Workshops. Jamie talked to us about being a photographer in Idaho as well as running international photography workshops. We talked about her transition from running a clothing store to shooting photos. We also talked about the impetus for starting Evolve Workshops and how it evolved from simple meetups to international workshops and an annual conference.

This week we're talking about Sony cars, Nikon's d780, Techart's EF to Z adapter, Canon's 1DX mark III and an Anker certified flash. We're also talking about dealing with family photos, especially when there's an unwanted person in the photo. We also have some follow up about Hitachi and the other products they make besides hard drives. Also, Dustin almost got scammed on Facebook marketplace.

Just before 2020. The New Year special is up. We're talking about goals for the new year. We're talking about resolutions. We're also talking about the mistakes we're trying to avoid in the new year.

Nikon shuts down their authorized repair program, a bride is arrested for allegedly forcing a photographer to pay to shoot her wedding, and a Kentucky photographer sues for her supposed religious right to discriminate against people (BTW, there's no religious right that allows anyone to discriminate).
