This episode Steve and Dustin talk about what they're thankful for in life. They also talk about their family Thanksgiving plans and an interesting experience Rustin had with a second shooter recently. After you listen, drop us an email to let us know what you're thankful for this year.
This week we're talking Christmas gifts and the things we missed in 2020 and the things we're looking forward to in 2021. But it's mostly not holiday related. We have updates on birds that rhyme with Sony as well as updates on more terrible things that Pass is doing. We're also talking about the longest exposure photo ever taken, a touchpad replacement for a shutter button and DJI being put on the economic blacklist. Plus, drone photos of landscapes that look rather phallic. Nature's d**k pics.
This week we discuss the best cameras for catching pumpkin smashers red-handed, the best full spectrum cameras, how do you get photos of kids on Halloween if they have to wear masks, what doe sit mean if a cloud of smoke passes by you during a real estate video shoot when you're all alone, and demon bokeh photobombs.
Just before 2020. The New Year special is up. We're talking about goals for the new year. We're talking about resolutions. We're also talking about the mistakes we're trying to avoid in the new year.
Happy holidays! From Dustin and Steve! We're talking gifts. Client gifts. Gifts we're giving. Gifts we bought ourselves. Gifts to buy for photographers. It's a nifty, gift-y episode.
In our third annual Thanksgiving special, we give thanks for all our blessings from this past year. It's been a great one so we have a lot to mention. We're both super thankful for our amazing families, for the great community that's formed around this podcast, and for listeners who leave positive reviews and then take a dump on Dustin's heart. What a blessing that last one was this past year.
On this special Halloween episode, Steve interviews Spectral Imaging Professor Dr. Richard Von Finkelstein. Dr. Von Finkelstein has a PhD in spectral imaging. His life changed at the age of 9 when he saw his first ghost and went to capture an image of it on his camera. That event, changed the course of his entire life.
This episode has a few rants. We put a musical bed underneath them to make them a little more palatable for people who don’t like rants… but if you don’t like angry rants then you probably quit this show a long time ago. So, we’re both a little angry this week and flying off the handle. But it’s for a good cause. We just think photographers deserve to be treated well, and one of us especially thinks that photographers need to treat other photographers well. But before we get to those rants, we gotta talk about this new post-wedding fad. It’s called Mr. Rogering. It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Won’t you be our neighbors?
The episode art is a two year old Christmas photo, but I couldn't find anything more recent that I liked (Steve). Join us for a rip-roaring Holiday Special! This episode has everything.
Our very special New Year episode brings resolutions from Dustin and Steve to get their lives in order and stop screwing around.
